About Sidmouth Nursing Home

At The Sidmouth Nursing Home, we believe that every person who comes in to their care should be provided with the best they can provide. This means ensuring that people are looked after with love, compassion, kindness, gentleness, patience and empathy.

We want our residents to feel safe and secure, surrounded by professional people who actually believe in treating people with absolute dignity and respect. As individuals, we are all different, therefore it is important to recognise those differences and to provide our residents with the means to live life according to their wishes.

This can only be attained by strong leadership, together with a team who are able to commit themselves to delivering the best in nursing care.

Ownership of the Home

At Sidmouth Nursing Home, our commitment to outstanding care is driven by a dedicated team; it’s important to recognise the rich legacy of care that has been upheld throughout the years. Our Director, Martin Mansukhani brings with him not only a strong background in healthcare and financial expertise but also a deep commitment to preserving and enhancing the legacy of care  Sidmouth Nursing Home is known for.

Martin’s journey in healthcare began in the demanding landscape of the Big Four, where he honed his skills in financial management, strategic planning, accounting, and business process improvement. In 2016, Martin embarked on an exciting venture by acquiring his first Care Home in Dawlish. Today, Sidmouth Nursing Home proudly stands as an integral part of Martin’s business profile.

Martin’s unwavering commitment to excellence in care provision is the cornerstone of Sidmouth Nursing Home’s ongoing success. What Our Families Say About Us

"Thank you all for taking good care of Jenny since last September.

When she left Wonford Hospital I was told she only had a few weeks to live, but due to your good care I was given an extra eight precious months with my lovely Jenny."

Brian Holland

"Your staff are all fabulous. The love, care, attention and respect given to my mother is simply outstanding. I truly could not wish for a better place for her to be. Your nurses, carers, kitchen staff, maintenance - they are all wonderful. It is such a happy environment."

"We cannot give enough praise for the compassionate and professional way that your team looked after her. In what must be getting on for 400 visits to my Aunt in that time I can never remember once having cause for concern."
